Our Caribbean Route

USA to Grenada

Departing the East Coast of Florida in February 2011, Finally Fun will cruise across the Gulf Stream to the Island of Bimini in the Bahamas.

Bimini through the Bahamian islands & Tongue of the Ocean to the Exumas, Bahamas.

Onward from the Exumas to the Turks & Cacios - British West Indies as these islands are known.

From there, to the island of Hispaniola - to  the Dominican Republic, arriving on the North Coast.
Cruising overnight around the northern coast to the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

Across the dreaded Mona Passage to Puerto Rico.

The Spanish Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands

Follow the map southward through all the various islands - some Dutch, some French until the island of Grenada is reached.

We'll spend nearly 6 months in Grenada (June 1 - November 15) during hurricane season for safety's sake and due to insurance requirements.

November will find us slowly cruising back up the island chains to the US Virgin Islands, savoring all the very different cultures and islands.  No specific itinerary -- 'go with the flow' and stay as long as we want in each place along the way.

June 2012 will find us back in Grenada, hunkering down again to avoid the hurricanes that often pass through the islands on their way to the USA.

After that, who knows?  Round and Round she goes and where she stops, no body knows!
